What this site measures, and how to switch it off.
Short version: nothing loads until you accept, and you can change your mind at any time.
What is measured
This is a portfolio, so the useful questions are simple: which case studies get read, how far people get through them, and whether anyone actually makes contact. One tool answers those questions.
- Microsoft Clarity — anonymised session recordings and heatmaps: where the cursor moves, where people scroll, where they hesitate and click. Text typed into form fields is masked by Clarity, and this site has no forms.
What is not collected
- No names, email addresses or phone numbers — this site has no forms and no accounts.
- No advertising profiles, no ad personalisation, no data sold or shared for marketing.
- Nothing at all, if you decline or simply ignore the banner.
Cookies
Nothing is loaded until you press Accept. If you accept, the cookies below may be set:
| Cookie | Set by | Purpose |
|---|---|---|
_clck, _clsk | Microsoft Clarity | Links pageviews into one session recording. Expires after 1 year / 1 day. |
CLID, MUID | Microsoft | Microsoft's own identifiers, set by the Clarity script. |
Your answer itself is stored in your browser's localStorage under
mj-analytics-consent. It never leaves your device.
Change your mind
Withdrawing consent stops all measurement and deletes the cookies the tools already set. The banner will ask again the next time you visit.
Consent withdrawn. Nothing on this site is measuring you, and previously set cookies were cleared from your browser.
Legal basis
Consent, under the GDPR (EU/UK) and as a matter of courtesy everywhere else. Declining costs you nothing — every page on this site works identically without analytics.
